We watched as the delicious color flowed from her brush. Julie helped us to see beyond the realistic photo image–to express an exciting, colorful painting. Her easy, comfortable teaching style usually started with a “warm-up” to ease our grip on the brush, and a demonstration of her artist’s vision as well as the challenge to explore new ideas.
